1 What is the nutrition concept behind your programmes?

We at Nutrition Tattva, believe in real food and hence the nutrition plans made are purely based on home cooked & foods that are easily available. Since each of us is different, our programmes also take many factors into consideration before designing the customized nutrition plan. We DO NOT promote any fad diets, short cut diets, commercial products or meal replacements for weight management. However, we may prescribe medically approved supplementation on Medical Nutrition Therapy or Gut Nutrition Therapy programmes to support the condition.

2 What is the overall approach of the programme?

As we work on a coaching approach, it’s extremely important that there is a two-way engagement. It’s important that we are updated regularly about your progress, challenges if any and deviation from the plan. This helps us understand your situation and adaptability to the programme and make modifications if necessary. In any situation where there has been a discontinuity without prior information and no updates for over 15 days, the programme will lapse as we presume that you are not interested. The programme is strictly based on the individual progress and hence regular interaction, updates and discussions are crucial to see results.

3 Do you provide online consultations?

Yes, our programmes are all online and hence can be accessed by anybody across the world. Our clients are distributed across the world and we are connected online.

4 What all parameters do you consider before making our plan?

We consider many factors such as medical history, medications, occupation, age, activity levels, location, availability of ingredients, cooking facilities, time available for preparation, family type, allergies, food likes and dislikes, food preferences, goal, culture and a lot more. We take many details that help in making the plan very practical and effective for you. However, we do emphasize on some effort to get maximum nourishment wherever necessary.

5 What if I am not able to follow the nutrition plan in case of travel or any other unforeseen circumstances

We understand there might be circumstances where the plan cannot be followed like travel, sickness, festivals etc. In such cases we request the client to keep us posted so that we can work around the same without affecting the pace. Short breaks like 3-5 days should not be a huge issue while long breaks would be considered based on the situation and reason. We recommend continuity for better results.

6 I work in different shifts; will it be customized accordingly and will I be able to manage?

Definitely, our dietitians will take your work schedule into consideration and help you follow the plan accordingly. However, it is important that you are sharing your shift timings/roster in advance to help us plan accordingly.

7 Do I need to take any particular blood work done before enrolling for the programme?

If you have a recent blood report, it will be helpful to understand the health status as we commence the programme. However, it’s not mandatory if you do not have any symptoms of any conditions and if you feel you are healthy.

8 I am a breastfeeding mother. Can I join your weight loss programme?

We recommend new mothers to join our programme only after completion of 1 year as we believe the initial one year after delivery is to be enjoyed with the new-born and not push oneself too much to lose weight. Since weight loss involves calorie deficit, it may also sometimes impact the milk supply.

9 What will be the frequency of the nutrition plan?

The nutrition plan would be shared every 2 weeks based on the progress noted and the updates shared. The progress made during the 2 weeks helps us to plan for the following weeks.

10 Do you suggest any physical activity / exercise or workouts?

We recommend you to include any physical activity such as walking, yoga or any exercise that you enjoy, for at least 45 minutes every day to complement your nutrition and to see better results. However, we do not train/coach on exercises

11 How often do we have the follow up calls?

We have a pre scheduled follow up call every 4th week. However, throughout the programme period, we will be connected on WhatsApp and emails.

12 How can I make the payment and can I pay in Instalments?

We accept payment through NEFT, Google pay, Phone pe. We do not take card payments yet. Our enrolment charges are one-time payment as it makes one adhere to the programme better and to commit oneself towards achieving the goal. Therefore, we do not take instalments.

13 Do you refund in case I discontinue?

Please note that the payment made towards the program is non-refundable and non-transferable. It takes a lot of customization of the nutrition plan to match each body type and goals. However, the programme can be paused for a maximum of 10 days in case of any unforeseen situations.
